Surf forecast, what's on, what to skip. In your inbox before 8am every Monday.
Monday's the pick of the week, and it's not a vintage week. A waist-to-shoulder NW swell with light offshore winds makes it the cleanest day before conditions soften and the swell drops away through Wednesday to Friday. The silver lining mid-week is three days of offshore easterlies grooming whatever's left. Wear a 4/3 minimum, probably boots too.
Beginners (La Sud): Monday gives you the best shot, around 1.2m sets with a gentle cross-shore breeze. High tide is at 12:20, so aim for the morning low-tide window from around 8am. Wednesday to Friday is small and offshore, which is actually fine for learning, just not much to work with.
Intermediate (La Centrale): Monday morning before high tide is your session. After that, the swell drops to knee-to-waist and stays there. Wednesday and Thursday are clean but thin, worth a paddle if you're already here.
Experienced (La Gravière / Les Estagnots): Nothing here this week. Monday's sets are too small to do much at Gravière, and the rest of the week is ankle-to-knee by Saturday. Save the energy.
