Friday's the standout. A building swell pushes sets to 3–4m (waist to chest) with a light northerly cross-shore — not ideal, but manageable if you pick your moment. The first half of the week is small and onshore, so don't rush in. No water temp data this week; it's August, so a 3/2 or boardshorts depending on your tolerance.
Beginners (La Sud): Tuesday and Wednesday offer the cleanest small-wave windows — knee to thigh-high, light wind, nothing scary. Tuesday's swell period stretches to 9 seconds, which gives the waves a bit more shape than Monday's messy onshore chop. Stick to the morning sessions before the sea breeze builds.
Intermediate (La Centrale): Thursday starts to show some size (thigh to stomach, up to 3m on the sets) with a northerly cross-shore. It's workable. Friday jumps up sharply, so if you're comfortable on bigger days, that's your session — high tide is at 11:50, aim for the morning low-tide window around 05:30 or the push back up.
Experienced (La Gravière / Les Estagnots): Friday is the week. Sets hitting 3–4m, light northerly wind, and swell period data is incomplete for that day so read the beach before paddling out. Saturday drops back to thigh-to-waist with onshore WNW wind — not worth it at Gravière. Sunday is smaller still.
Friday high tide: 11:50 · Wind: light northerly cross-shore · Swell period data incomplete for Fri–Sun

Mostly dry all week, with a brief drizzle on Thursday that clears by Friday. From the weekend it warms up properly, hitting 30°C on Saturday. No need for a layer in the evenings, but bring sunscreen and get on the beach before the sea breeze builds mid-afternoon.
Version data is missing for all films this week, so VO/VF status isn't confirmed. Check the links before you go.

First floor of a villa, under the pines, quiet residential street. The kind of place where you hear nothing at night and walk to the market in ten minutes. Not beach-adjacent, but that's the trade-off for the calm.
This week: Bar de la Poste for lunch. Order the gambas and sit outside on the terrace. It gets busy from noon, so arrive early or you'll be waiting. Around €20–25 a head.
Les Halles is open daily mornings, best for breakfast, oysters, and charcuterie.
