Monday's the standout, and it's a proper one. A solid NW swell is pushing through early in the week with light offshore winds, then the back half turns onshore and smaller. It's October, so wear a 4/3 minimum, probably boots too.
Beginners (La Sud): Sit this week out, or wait until Friday and Saturday when it drops to waist-to-shoulder. Monday through Wednesday is too much size and too much energy for La Sud to tame it. Friday's light onshore won't be pretty, but the wave height is manageable.
Intermediate (La Centrale): Monday morning is worth setting the alarm for. Clean ESE offshore, sets up to 3m, high tide at 06:30 so aim for the two hours after that as it drops. Tuesday turns onshore and messy. Wednesday has a cross-shore ENE breeze and overhead-plus surf, worth a look early before it deteriorates.
Experienced (La Gravière / Les Estagnots): Monday is the session. Overhead to double overhead, 10-second period, light offshore. It won't be maxing but it'll be serious. Wednesday is a secondary option: similar size, cross-shore rather than offshore, so expect bumpier faces. After that, the swell backs off and the wind goes onshore. Pack it in until next week.

Mild and mostly dry all week, with a brief drizzle on Tuesday then back to partly cloudy through the weekend. Fog rolls in Friday and Saturday morning, so get to the beach mid-morning once it clears. Evenings are cooling off sharply, down to 8–9°C, so bring a proper layer.

Second-floor flat in a beach-access residence, so you're close enough to hear the ocean at night. Good for a group that wants to be on the sand quickly and doesn't need much space to spread out.
