Surf forecast, what's on, what to skip. In your inbox before 8am every Monday.
Monday's the one window worth circling. Light SSE offshore, 2–3m sets, and the rest of the week turns onshore and stays that way. It's July so no wetsuit needed, but the water temp data isn't available this week.
Beginners: Monday morning at La Sud before the wind picks up elsewhere. Thigh-to-waist sets, forgiving conditions, high tide at 09:49 so aim for the 08:00–11:00 window. Tuesday onwards the onshore chop makes it scrappy and unrewarding. Sit those days out.
Intermediate: La Centrale on Monday is worth a look. The swell's got some size (up to 3m max) and the offshore keeps it clean early. After that, Tuesday brings waist-to-chest surf but a WSW onshore at a decent clip. Messy and not worth it unless you're desperate to get wet.
Experienced: La Gravière on Monday morning. Up to 3m, light offshore, could be punchy. Sunday (26th) builds to waist-to-shoulder with a NW swell, but it's onshore WNW and gusty. Probably closeout conditions. Check it, but don't expect much.

The email lands before 8am every Monday. One issue, then quiet until next week.
Hot and dry until Friday, with Wednesday peaking at 34°C and Thursday pushing 35°C. Wind picks up Saturday with a bit of drizzle, then it clears. Sunscreen is the priority this week, not layers.
No VO or VOSTFR films confirmed this week. Everything showing is VF — worth knowing before you make the trip.
Worth keeping an eye on In Waves ★ once showtimes are confirmed — the title's on the surf-related list, which is reason enough to check back.
Nothing on at Le Tube this week, and the venue programme didn't return a season list either. Check Le Tube's listings directly if you're set on a gig.

[data unavailable this week]
The data this week only came back with one property, so that's what you're getting. Padding it out with invented listings would be worse than useless.
Location Appartement 4 Personnes Proche Ocean Hossegor Beach · sleeps 4 · €1,200 / week · Locations Vacances Hossegor
First floor of a villa at Plage Sud, so you've got ocean views and you'll hear the beach at night. Good base if you're here to surf: the break is close, but don't expect a quiet evening once July fills up.
Only one property returned from the agency feed this week. Check back next issue for a fuller selection.
This week: La Bohème for dinner. Order anything off the daily blackboard, whatever they've written up is what you want. Lake-side, smart-casual, and still the one locals actually book rather than just walk past. Around €30–50 a head, and you'll need a reservation if you're going at the weekend.
